1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or purchasing any products or services from OVCTS, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of our website and services immediately.

2. Scope of Services

OVCTS provides technology and security services including but not limited to:

  • Smart home and business alarm systems

  • Resideo product installation and integration

  • Access control systems

  • Security camera installation

  • Network and low-voltage cabling

  • Smart automation and monitoring solutions

All services are performed in accordance with industry standards and best practices. OVCTS reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if safety, legality, or ethical standards are compromised.

3. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes and proposals are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Pricing may vary based on material availability, manufacturer changes, or project scope adjustments.
Time-and-materials projects are billed for actual labor, travel, and materials used. Taxes, permits, and third-party fees are the responsibility of the client unless explicitly included in writing.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Deposits may be required prior to scheduling.
Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly finance charge or the maximum allowed by law.
OVCTS retains ownership of all installed materials and equipment until full payment is received.

5. Cancellations and Scheduling

Appointment cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Short-notice cancellations may be subject to a service fee to cover labor and travel costs.
OVCTS is not responsible for delays caused by weather, utility outages, supply chain interruptions, or customer-caused delays.

6. Warranties and Limitations

OVCTS provides a 30-day workmanship warranty on installation labor unless otherwise stated in the service agreement.
Manufacturer warranties apply to all installed equipment, and OVCTS will assist customers with warranty claims where possible.

OVCTS is not responsible for:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or tampering by others

  • Power surges, network issues, or third-party service interruptions

  • Consequential or incidental damages arising from system failures

7. Liability Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OVCTS and its employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data, or loss of income arising out of the use or inability to use any product or service.
Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service in dispute.

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide safe and clear access to all work areas

  • Secure any necessary permissions or access codes

  • Maintain a stable power and internet connection if required for system functionality

  • Follow manufacturer and OVCTS usage guidelines

Failure to provide a safe workspace may result in rescheduling or termination of service.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, images, and technical documentation produced by OVCTS remain the intellectual property of OVCTS unless otherwise agreed in writing.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from our website or service documentation without prior written consent.

10. Privacy and Data

OVCTS respects customer privacy. Personal and project information will only be used for communication, scheduling, and service fulfillment. We do not sell or share customer data. See our full Privacy Policy for details on how data is collected and protected.

11. Third-Party Products and Services

Some services may include third-party hardware, software, or monitoring. OVCTS is not responsible for third-party failures, interruptions, or data breaches but will make reasonable efforts to support resolution.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of West Virginia.
Any disputes arising under or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in West Virginia.

If a provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

13. Amendments

OVCTS reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be posted on our website. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
